The Regeneration Working Group formed towards the end of 2022 in response to the urgent need for support to keep the Abbey open. The group includes new trustees, Abbey company members, Abbey employees and supporters of the Abbey from the local Sutton Courtenay community and beyond. This group has worked tirelessly over recent months to bring life back into the Abbey and plan for a way forward to allow the Abbey to remain open as a spiritual retreat centre. An amazing amount has been achieved in such a short space of time. A regeneration plan has now been formulated, we now have volunteers living and working at the Abbey and are planning to reopen from the 1st of April 2023.
