Our Organisation
The Abbey Sutton Courtenay, a registered charity, provides space and welcomes practitioners and groups to engage in personal reflection and fellowship. We are strengthened by partnerships like the Order of the Cross, which upholds its founding principles.
The Charity Manager, Pascaline Bazart, brings a strong donor management experience within notable non-profit organizations, including expertise in legacy and major donor fundraising strategies, communication, events and project management. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of The Abbey and oversees all operational activities, in line with The Abbey’s core purpose as a retreat/spiritual education centre. She is also a therapist specialized in burnout prevention and stress management.
The Housekeeping & Volunteers Coordinator, Tayler, works closely with Pascaline to ensure every guest and volunteer feels genuinely welcomed. To the role, she brings experience in leadership, training & facilitation, and working in cross-cultural environments. She coordinates day-to-day housekeeping, onsite services, and an international team of volunteers.
The Board of Trustees guides The Abbey’s strategy and growth, ensuring its long-term sustainability while safeguarding its founding values and spiritual legacy.
