The Abbey Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The 2023 Annual General Meeting of The Abbey Sutton Courtenay Ltd will be held on Saturday 9^th December 2023 to start at 2 pm and finish by 4 pm. The meeting will be held in person in the Great Hall.

At the meeting the trustees will provide a report covering the period April 2023 to December 2023. The trustees will report progress on the Regeneration Plan approved at the 2022 AGM held on 23^rd March 2023.

The agenda for the meeting is set out below. The Trustees’ Report and the Annual Report and Accounts for 2022 will be circulated before the meeting.

Resolutions

Written resolutions from Members of the Company should be sent by email to the Chair of Trustees in time for circulation to members in line with the requirements of the Articles of Association.

Voting

Where there is no need for a ballot, a show of hands will be taken. Where a ballot needs to be taken, the votes will be collected by email as has been the practice before. Only company members will be entitled to vote, though others with an interest in The Abbey will be welcome at the meeting with the permission of those present. For those wishing to vote by proxy a proxy form is appended. Proxy forms must be received by the Chair of Trustees by 10.00 on Friday 8^th December 2023.

It would be very helpful if members indicate their intention to attend or not. Please email the Chair of Trustees – Adrian Rance McGregor, saying whether you can come or wish to send apologies.
