DESCRIPTION:Join us for SUMMERSONG at the ABBEY\, an uplifting afternoon of harmony singing in the stunning Great Hall. After three sold-out events\, we’re thrilled to welcome voices together once again for a joyful celebration of summer through song. \nThis three-hour workshop will be led by Emily Marshall\, Elena Harris and Holly Taylor-Zuntz: three local choir leaders with different musical flavours joining forces to share songs they love. Together they’ll create a rich and varied session of harmony singing. \nAll songs are taught by ear in the Natural Voice tradition\, so there’s no need to read music. DESCRIPTION:From 18–21 June 2026\, Arte in Situ UK brings together a group of international artists for a four-day contemporary art residency dedicated to creativity\, collaboration\, and cultural exchange. \nWorking across disciplines including ceramics\, painting\, sculpture\, visual arts\, graphic design\, and woodworking\, the participating artists will share ideas\, develop new work\, and engage in a dynamic dialogue shaped by their diverse backgrounds and practices. \nThroughout the residency\, artists will create and exchange ideas in an environment that encourages reflection\, experimentation\, and artistic discovery. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience contemporary art as it evolves through a process of shared practice and creative exploration. \nThe residency culminates in a special Vernissage on Sunday\, 21 June at 5:30 pm\, where guests are invited to meet the artists\, view the work developed during the residency\, and celebrate the culmination of this unique artistic encounter. \nCurated and coordinated by Solidea Guerra\, Arte in Situ UK continues to foster meaningful international connections while creating opportunities for artistic growth\, dialogue\, and collaboration.
